      The Collect of the Day, Almighty God, you have made us for     yourself, and our hearts are restless until they find their rest in    you. May we find peace in your service, and in the world to               come, see you face to face; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who        lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now     and for ever.

Celebration of the Eucharist

       Prayer over the Gifts,  Father, your word creates in us a yearning         for your kingdom. Receive all we offer you this day and

              keep us in your peace; for the sake of Jesus Christ the Lord.

     Prayer After Communion, Living God, in this sacrament we have          shared in your eternal kingdom. May we who taste this        mystery forever serve you in faith, hope, and love. We ask this               in the name of Jesus Christ the Lord.

Goodbye to our organist: We are sad to announce that our organist Paul Hutten has accepted a position as Music Director with King’s Presbyterian Church in New Minas, effective September 1st. Paul’s last Sunday with us is August 14^th. Plan to join us then as we give thanks for Paul’s ministry among us.

Photos Needed: We need photos of parish activities to finish our photo directory. Please bring your photos in so we can celebrate life in the Parish of Horton! Also, if you did not have your photo taken for the directory, please submit one and we’ll include it.

Rector’s schedule: Sandra will be on vacation from July 25^th till August 16^th. The Rev’d Canon Cal McMillan will preside and preach on the Sundays she is away and the Rev’d Dr. Bruce Matthews will be on call for emergencies.
