Psalm 131
O
Lord, I am not proud; I have no haughty looks.
I
do not occupy myself with great matters, or with things that are too
hard for me.
But
I still my soul and make it quiet, like a child upon its mother’s
breast; my soul is quieted within me.
O
Israel, wait upon the Lord, from this time forth for
evermore.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy
Spirit; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world
without end. Amen.

need to update The Book of
Services. Until we can do that, an interim booklet is being
prepared for our 10am service which includes words and music for
worship from The Book of
Alternative Services. This booklet will make it easier to follow
the service and will help us to figure out what we need to address
as we begin to revise our existing booklet. We will continue to use
The Book of Services for
worship from The Book of
Common Prayer. If you have any questions or concerns, please
talk to Sandra. This booklet should be available the first Sunday in
Lent.
We are looking for a few people to give one Sunday a month (or less) during our 10am

a curriculum-based Sunday school, but resources will be provided
(you will not be asked to plan lessons). Stories and activities will
tie in to the specific seasons of the church year and other themes.
If you can help, talk to Nancy McLean or Jim Fyfe, or use the
sign-up sheet at the back of the church.
