AM HOLY COMMUNION, BCP
Collect:
O Lord, who hast taught us that all our doings without charity are nothing
worth: send thy Holy Spirit, and pour into our hearts that most excellent
gift of charity, the very bond of peace and of all virtues, without which
whosoever liveth is counted dead before thee. Grant this for thine only
Son Jesus Christ’s sake. Amen.

Psalm
99
The
Lord is King; let the peoples tremble; he sitteth upon the cherubim; let
the earth be moved.
The
Lord is great in Sion, and high above all the peoples.
Let
them give thanks unto thy Name, which is great and wonderful; for he is
holy.
The
King’s power loveth judgement; thou dost establish equity: thou dost
execute judgement and righteousness in Jacob.
O
magnify the Lord our God, and fall down before his footstool; for he is
holy.
Moses
and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among such as call upon his Name:
these called upon the LORD, and he heard them.
He
spake unto them out of the cloudy pillar; for they kept his testimonies,
and the law that he gave them.
Thou
heardest them, O Lord our God; thou forgavest them, O God, though thou
didst punish their doings.
O
magnify the Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the Lord our
God is holy.
Glory
be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the
beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Furniture
needed:
Needed:
a small table and a book shelf for the photocopier room. Table should be
a small endtable type, it does not have to be pretty as long as it’s strong.
The book shelf also needs to be strong as it is going to be used to store
paper etc. If you have a table or book shelf that you would like to donate
to the church, please let Debbie MacDonald know and arrangements will be
made for pick up. Email: idmac@eastlink.ca,
or 542-9219.

News:
We
are updating B.C.Silver's history of St. John's for the years 1969 - 2008.
Please think back over this period and try to recall any events related
to the Church that you consider important, memorable or just plain interesting.
Let Ralph Winter know either by note (at church), phone (542 3684) or e-mail
jameswinter@eastlink.ca. We would also be delighted to receive any relevant
photos. Our collection of Annual Reports is missing years 1969-1971, 1973,
1977- 1978. If you have any of these issues we would be extremely appreciative
if you lent or donated them to the Church.
The

Watch for the booklet Lent is for Living, which will suggest actions you
can take each day during Lent to make a difference in our community, our
