Community News
WAICC/ Wolfville Area Food Bank
As always, donations of food items such as soup, powdered milk, juice, cans of tuna, salmon, ham, turkey, tomatoes and other vegetables and fruits, pasta and pasta sauces, oatmeal, peanut butter, personal hygiene products and household cleaning items are most welcome.

Individuals, who volunteer at the Wolfville Nursing Home or Wolfville Elms, are invited to join us for our Volunteer Appreciation tea on April 10, 2008 at 2:00pm at the Wolfville Nursing Home.  Please RSVP at 542-2429 or recdept@eastlink.ca by March 31, 2008. 

The Wolfville Nursing Home staff and residents would like to thank all those who took time out of their busy schedules to share in the World Day of Prayer on March 14th at the nursing home.

The organizers of the Alzheimer run walk ‘n’ roll for memories are looking for a parish representative who would be willing to assist with this annual event to be held in June.  If interested in walking, fundraising for the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, or helping with the organization of this important event, please contact Margaret Coghill at 542-2429 or recdept@eastlink.ca.  Come join the fun
