Lenten Services
Wednesday Holy Communion Services - will be offered each Wednesday
morning during Lent beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the church, starting Feb.
6th. The services will be followed by a Lenten Bible Study on the Collects
and Prayer, led by Canon Elliott.
Easter Flowers: anyone wishing to have flowers placed in the church
for Easter please call Cathy Stewart 542-5565
Confirmation Group meets each Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., in
the sunroom, until Easter.
Making Palm Crosses: If you would like to be part of this annual event
in preparation for Palm Sunday, please sign up at the back of the church.
Free lessons will be provided! Rev'd. Cathy Lee will set a time that works
for the majority of the participants. The crosses will be made during the
week of March 9th, in time for Palm Sunday.
ACW meeting: Monday, March 18th at 12 noon. Bring your lunch
and we will supply tea and coffee. At this meeting we are having a guest
speaker, Judy Hilchie of "Simplify! Professional Organizing Solutions".
Decluttering/organizing homes, small business/home offices, Senior down
sizing and estate help - taking you from chaos to calm. If you would like

Wednesday Night Services at the Manning Memorial Chapel at Acadia are
held at 6:15 p.m. All are welcome to join us for our Evening Prayers.
Choir meets every Thursday at 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. in the sunroom. For further

Wednesday morning church services will be held at the Wolfville Elms
(10:15am) and Wolfville Nursing Home (11am) on March 5. Anyone wishing
to come and worship is welcome.

2008 World Day of Prayer Service
Fri. March 7 - 2:00 PM at St. John's, Wolfville. You are invited to
celebrate the 2008 World Day of Prayer at a service hosted by St. John's
on Friday, March 7 at 2:00 PM. This year's service has been written
by the women of Guyana on the theme God's Wisdom Provides New Understanding,
and we are most fortunate to have Jemel Moriah, a native of Guyana,
as the guest speaker. A reception will follow the service.
This interdenominational service, led by women from several local churches,
is open to all. Bring a friend! (Further information on poster
at back of the church.)

As always, donations of food items such as soup, powdered milk, juice,
cans of tuna, salmon, ham, turkey, tomatoes and other vegetables and fruits,
