Today, February 17th at 10:00 Bishop Moxley will be here to preside at
a confirmation service, after which there will be a reception in the narthex
in honour of those confirmed and received into the Communion. Refreshments
will be provided.

Lenten Services
Wednesday Holy Communion Services
will be offered each Wednesday morning during Lent beginning
at 9:30 a.m. in the church, starting Feb. 6th. The services will be followed
by a Lenten Bible Study on the Collects and Prayer, led by Canon Elliott.
Anyone wishing to use the Lenten Coin Folders they are available at
the back of the church
Valentines Bridge Luncheon Thank you to Shirley Marston and the ACW
for their organization of the Bridge luncheon.
Confirmation Group meets each Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., in
the sunroom, until Easter.
ACW Meeting: tomorrow, Monday, February 18th at 12 noon. Bring
a sandwich and we will supply tea and coffee. This will be our “Bring
and Buy Sale” - weather cooperating! All women of the
church are welcome to come and join in this time of fun and fellowship.
Annual Meeting of the Parish will be held March 2nd after the 10am
service of Holy Eucharist.
Annual Reports will be available for pick up next Sunday, February 24th.
Wednesday Night Services at the Manning Memorial Chapel at Acadia are
held at 6:15 p.m. All are welcome to join us for our Evening Prayers.
Choir meets every Thursday Night at 7:30 p.m. in the sunroom. For further
information, please speak with Don Corbett.

2008 World Day of Prayer Service
Fri. March 7 - 2:00 PM at St. John's, WolfvilleYou are invited to celebrate
the 2008 World Day of Prayer at a service hosted by St. John's on Friday,
March 7 at 2:00 PM. This year's service has been written by the women
of Guyana on the theme God's Wisdom Provides New Understanding, and we
are most fortunate to have Jemel Moriah, a native of Guyana, as the
guest speaker. A reception will follow the service. This interdenominational
service, led by women from several local churches, is open to all.

WAICC/ Wolfville Area Food Bank
As always, donations of food items such as soup, powdered milk, juice,
cans of tuna, salmon, ham, turkey, tomatoes and other vegetables and fruits,
