On Sunday February 17th at10:00 Bishop Moxley will be here to preside at
a confirmation service, after which there will be a reception in the narthex
in honour of those confirmed. Refreshments will be provided.
Following the reception, the Parish Council will hold a short business
session and then meet with the Bishop.

Lenten Services
Wednesday Holy Communion Services
will be offered each Wednesday morning during Lent beginning
at 9:30 a.m. in the church, starting Feb. 6th. The services will be followed
by a Lenten Bible Study on the Collects and Prayer, led by Canon Elliott.
Anyone wishing to use the Lenton Coin Folders they are available at
the back of the church
2007 tax receipts can be picked up at the back of the church.
Pancake Supper Thank you to the men of the parish and all who supported
this delicious event. Well done.
Valentines Bridge Luncheon will be held This Thursday, Feb 14, 12noon
-4pm. Lots of prizes and good food. Bring a friend. Tickets
$10 available from Shirley Marston 542-9323
ACW Meeting: Monday, February 18th at 12 noon. Bring a sandwich
and we will supply tea and coffee. This will be our “Bring and Buy
Sale” - weather cooperating! All women of the church
are welcome to come and join in this time of fun and fellowship.
Wednesday Night Services at the Manning Memorial Chapel at Acadia are
held at 6:15 p.m. All are welcome to join us for our Evening Prayers.
Choir meets every Thursday Night at 7:30 p.m. in the sunroom. For further
