Community news
Who Needs Help in the Valley? Looking at Human Needs and Resources
in Our Community is the topic for a Public Meeting sponsored by the Wolfville
and Area Inter Church Council on Wednesday evening, April 16 at 7:30 in
the Wolfville Baptist Church. Sharing their perspectives will be:
Dr. William Doran (Mud Creek Medical Co-op), Michele Ferdinand (Canadian
Mental Health Association), Andy Northrup (Inn From the Cold) and Rob Tupper
(Community Services Nova Scotia). There will be open opportunity
for interaction, sharing and discussion. Refreshments will
be served. Everyone is welcome. Come to learn and express your
concerns about some of the needs in our community and what could be done
to help meet those needs.

As always, donations of food items such as soup, powdered milk, juice,
cans of tuna, salmon, ham, turkey, tomatoes and other vegetables and fruits,
pasta and pasta sauces, oatmeal, peanut butter, personal hygiene products

The organizers of the Alzheimer run walk ‘n’ roll for memories are looking
for a parish representative who would be willing to assist with this annual
event to be held in June. If interested in walking, fundraising for
